Description

See my main journal entry for my stock use rules.

These sword shots were taken with a few different lighting variations. Some are better than others. A couple of them have a bit of the backdrop cloth obscuring part of a sword edge. Sorry about that. Shouldn't be any problem for you talented folks, now should it. ;)

This particular sword is a style from the late Viking Age, with the hilt featuring what's commonly known as a "tea cosy" pommel. Those who pay attention to such things may notice that the sword has blunt edges and a rounded tip, and in a few of these shots the particularly eagle-eyed may see nicks along the edge. The reason is that this is the sword I use when participating in steel combat re-enactment. My local group is the Glomesdal Viking Lethang, which is associated with The Vikings - North America, which in turn is associated with The Vikings in the UK. This sword was made by the amazing Paul Binns.
